Vegvisir Necklace

Referred to as the “Viking compass” or “Wayfinder,” the Vegvisir is a powerful and evocative symbol. Despite its common association with the Viking Age, the symbol actually originates from 19th-century Iceland and is rooted in Icelandic folklore rather than early Norse history. Traditionally, the Vegvisir was believed to guide travelers and ensure they would not lose their way, even in harsh weather or unfamiliar terrain. As a piece of jewelry, it can be seen as a modern protection amulet—offering a sense of direction and reassurance as you navigate life’s uncharted paths. Approximately 3.5cm, synthetic cord with adjustable clasp.
